Within the framework of NCTS Twinning Project carried out by Turkish Customs Administration and Italian Customs Administration, an international workshop on "The TIR Convention and the New Computerized Transit System: The Latest Developments-New Instruments to Facilitate and Secure Transports and Trade" was held on February 11th and 12th 2010 in Istanbul. The workshop aims to build awareness for the NCTS Twinning Project both at national and international level. The workshop was attended by the interested public and private sector representatives from Turkey and other countries as well as customs authorities from Turkey and other countries and representatives of the interested international organizations.
